A Bit About Me
I am basically from Nagpur, Maharashtra. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, (VNIT) Nagpur, Maharashtra in 2003. After the B.E. degree, in August 2003, I joined Cummins India Limited Pune (CIL) as an Operation Management Program Participant (OMPP). I worked as an OMPP Trainee till July 2005. I got confirmed as a Manager – Manufacturing in August 2005 and later promoted as a Senior Manager – Manufacturing in August 2006. After the rich industrial experience I opted for higher studies. I earned Master's degree in Physical Metallurgy from the College of Engineering Pune (COEP and now COEP Tech.) in 2009-2011 period. In 2014, I joined as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science (Meta) at COEP on a BARC, Mumbai sponsored project titled, “Synthesis of High temperature Thermoelectric Material β – FeSi2 by Mechanical Alloying of Fe and Si Powders”. In 2016 I registered for my Ph.D. from the same department and got it awarded in 2019. During my Ph.D. I joined Meta-COEP as an Adjunct Faculty and taught various courses. In 2022, I joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (MME) at the National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (NIAMT, Formerly National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology (NIFFT)) Ranchi 834003, Jharkhand, India and I am currently working with NIAMT, Ranchi.
I have diverse research interests to cater various research challenges. My current areas of research are Energy Materials, Thermoelectrics, Powder Metallurgy, High Entropy Alloys, Composite Materials, etc.

I have acquired a strong technical background through the combination of my learning and teaching experiences, educational knowledge and fruitful discussions with my mentors and team members. Also, I have a very rich experience as student advisor, mentor, counsellor. This helps me to transfer the institution goals to the students.
I have very good experience in organizing various international and national events like conferences, workshops, FDP and symposium.
I am blessed with a supportive family comprising my mother-in-law, husband and kids: Eashan (15 years) and Shreya (10 years). My hobbies are painting and gardening. I have two mantras in my life:
Professional: Institute First, Department Always.
Personal: There is no Excuse to Hard Work When it Comes to Success.
